NOIN is a design studio that works across brand, product, and motion. I designed and built their internal design system from scratch — a comprehensive library of tokens, components, and guidelines that unified output across a distributed team of 15+ designers.

Challenge
With designers distributed across San Francisco, London, and Bangalore, NOIN's deliverables were visually inconsistent. Each designer maintained their own component library, leading to duplicated effort, brand drift, and slow onboarding. Client feedback often cited inconsistency as a concern.
Solution
I audited 6 months of deliverables to extract common patterns, then built a token-first design system in Figma with semantic naming, dark/light mode support, and detailed usage documentation. I introduced a contribution model so designers could propose additions through a formal review process, and ran weekly office hours to drive adoption across the team.
Results
Design consistency scores in client reviews improved by 60%. Onboarding for new designers dropped from 3 weeks to 5 days. The system was adopted by 100% of the design team within 2 months of launch and became the foundation for 12+ client projects.
